Los Angeles before the pandemic¿ four female friends are going through a midlife crisis as they struggle to balance work and family life. For Justine (Julie Delpy), the French chef of a trendy restaurant, Anne (Elisabeth Shue), an heiress that has a clothing company on the side, Ell (Alexia Landeau), who is raising three children from three different fathers, and Yasmin (Sarah Jones), on the hunt for a job after a 12-year maternity leave, each new day feels like walking on a tightrope without a safety net !
