STUDIOCANAL will coproduce the remake of Canadian hit film STARBUCK, to be produced by Made in PM, owner of the remake rights. TF1 is also coproducing and CANAL+ has acquired the pay-TV rights.

The two companies announced that STUDIOCANAL will distribute the next installments of Lionsgate’s global blockbuster HUNGER GAMES franchise in the German-speaking territories, as well as announcing the long-term renewal of the agreement under which Lionsgate distributes the STUDIOCANAL library in North America.

The « People Choice’s Award » awarded at the Toronto Film Festival yesterday went to SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, directed by David O.Russell.
At the screening a few days earlier this film, starring a very prestigious cast, Bradley Cooper (THE HANGOVER, LIMITLESS…), Jennifer Lawrence (THE HUNGER GAMES), Robert De Niro, Jacky Weaver and Chris Tucker, had received excellent reviews from the press.

STUDIOCANAL and CE QUI ME MEUT announce the beginning of the shooting of Cédric Klapisch’s new film, CASSE-TETE CHINOIS 8 years after RUSSIAN DOLLS, Cédric Klappisch is about to shoot the 3rd part of his trilogy, to be released in cinemas in France on October 16th 2013.
