HEIDI SETS AN ALL-TIME RECORD FOR A GERMAN-LANGUAGE FILM
Following an excellent box office when it opened in Germany on 10 December, 2015, HEIDI, directed by Alain Gsponer and starring Bruno Ganz and Anuk Steffen, also got off to a great start in France.
By the end of its first week in theaters, HEIDI had set an all-time box-office record for a German-language film when released in France, with 262,095 tickets sold over a total of 353 copies.
In German-speaking Europe, HEIDI has already attracted more than 1.75 million viewers. HEIDI was produced by Uli Putz and Jakob Claussen at Claussen+Putz Filmproduktion and Lukas Hobi and Reto Schaerli of Zodiac Pictures in coproduction with STUDIOCANAL.
STUDIOCANAL is responsible for worldwide distribution. HEIDI has already been sold to 45 countries.

SEULS SET TO START SHOOTING
Filmmaker David Moreau is to start shooting SEULS, his fourth feature film (after ILS, THE EYE, and 20 ANS D’ECART).
The film is based on the eponymous fantasy adventure comic book series written by Fabien Vehlmann, illustrated by Bruno Gazzotti and published by DUPUIS.
The critically acclaimed comic book series, which has received two awards at the Angouleme International Comics Festival, has a growing readership. More than 100,000 copies of Volume 9, which was published last October, have already been sold.
The film will start shooting in the Paris area on 29th February and filming will last nine weeks.
Young actor and humorist, Stéphane Bak is part of the adventure, together with Sofia Lesaffre, Kim Lochhart, Jean-Stan du Pac and Thomas Doret.
The film will be released in 2017.
SEULS is produced by Abel Nahmias (Echo Films), coproduced by STUDIOCANAL, and David Moreau (Faust Films), with the participation of CANAL+ and CINÈ+.
