DVD OF TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY: A GREAT SUCCESS IN THE UK.
After record revenues of £14.2 million at the box-office, the DVD of TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY has reached the exceptional record of 201.000 copies (including 45.000 Blu-ray) sold in a week throughout the UK. It overwhelmingly wins the first place for the films going on sale that week, as DRIVE, released the same day, is second with 62.000 copies sold.
This is by far the best result for a STUDIOCANAL DVD in the UK. Indeed, the former record was held by UNKNOWN last year, with 122.000 copies sold during the first week.
