Nominations for the BAFTA were announced on January 17th, in London.

TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY, a film entirely financed by STUDIOCANAL, is nominated in 11 categories, including Best Film, Best Director (Tomas Alfredson), Leading Actor (Gary Oldman)…

Several other films distributed by STUDIOCANAL are also in competition. ATTACK THE BLOCK, SUBMARINE, TYRANNOSAUR, all coproduced by STUDIOCANAL in the UK, POTICHE and THE GUARD, distributed in the UK by the studio, received 5 nominations.

MY WEEK WITH MARILYN, distributed by STUDIOCANAL in France, earned 6 nominations. SENNA, also distributed in France by the studio is nominated in 3 categories, including Best Documentary.

The award ceremony will will take place on Sunday 12 February 2012 at London's Royal Opera House.
