STUDIOCANAL AND LES FILMS DE MON ONCLE HAVE SIGNED A DEAL REGARDING JACQUES TATI’S FILMS.
From now on, STUDIOCANAL will handle world distribution rights to all Jacques Tati features, except theatrical in France and festivals, which will be handled directly by Les films de mon Oncle.
Preserving masterpieces is a very important part of STUDIOCANAL’s activities, and all of Jacques’s Tati’s 6 long and 6 short movies will be restored.
STUDIOCANAL HAS ACQUIRED RIGHTS TO ROBOCOP
STUDIOCANAL will release in 2013 the remake of ROBOCOP in the UK, France and Germany, theatrically and across platforms including video, VOD and television. Director José Padilha reimagines the tale of part man, part machine, all cop starring Joel Kinnaman as the title character, Gary Oldman as the scientist who creates RoboCop, and Samuel L. Jackson as media mogul Pat Novak.
LABYRINTH AT COMIC CON' PARIS ON JULY 7TH
LABYRINTH, TANDEM COMMUNICATIONS' 4-hour Event miniseries based on Kate Mosse's bestseller, will be presented at Comic Con' Paris on July 7th.
Events include a screening of the last 30 minutes of the first episode, a Q&A and an autograph signing session. Labyrinth attendees are actors Katie McGrath and Emun Elliott, Director Chris Smith, TANDEM Producer Moritz Polter and world-renowned author Kate Mosse.

LUCKY STAR AWARDED TWICE IN CABOURG.
The 26th Edition of the Cabourg Film Festival – Romantic Days just ended. LUCKY STAR (MA BONNE ETOILE), directed by Anne Fassio, received the Audience Award and Fleur Lise the “Premier rendez-vous” Prize, awarding actors in a leading part for the first time. LUCKY STAR will be released in France on July 11th.
