The film from Alain Resnais was released half a century ago and won that same year a Golden Lion in Venice. Alain Robbe-Griller, the father of the Nouveau Roman’s movement, wrote the movie’s script. Coco Chanel designed Delphine Seyrig’s costumes. This film is part of the classics slate, the STUDIOCANAL collection. It has been restored in high-definition.

Synopsis:
In a sumptuous grand hotel, an unknown man (Giorgio Albertazzi) tries to persuade a married woman, anonymous too (Delphine Seyrig) that not only they had a love affair the year before in Marienbad, but they planned to run away. The woman does not remember this meeting and starts a sensual and philosophic analysis of this doubtful truth…
